Charlotte's name appears to have been sped up when the V/O reads "With Charlotte Hawkins and Kate Garraway". It sounds normal when it's "With Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins" as shown here:

I disagree, that still sounds awkward. The inflection on "and" is wrong. It reminds me of automated train announcements.

Wouldn’t the original order be a single take? It sounds like they’ve edited it and swapped the names, but have had to speed up Charlotte’s name so the voiceover is in time with the music. It seems like a lot of effort for such a small detail.

Today it was back to being read as ‘Charlotte Hawkins and Kate Garraway’. Also the opening itv logo remained as the GMB coloured 5 segments but now centred like the post date appearance later in the titles.

I would hazard a guess that the whole voiceover is done in individual parts. He must record “From ITV Studios, This is GMB” and then all the hosts invidually “with Charlotte Hawkins”/“With Kate Garraway”/“With Piers Morgan” etc. Together with a separate “and” with each day someone must edit them together and remove the with on the second hosts name.
Although I imagine they’ll have the common pairings done in advance for the regular teams ie. Piers & Susanna/Kate & Ben/Susanna & Ben.

Usually it is done as "with Susanna Reid, Susanna Reid and Susanna Reid" for each presenter, so they can cut together any mix of them.

Didn’t Dominic Green post a script ahead of the last show from The London Studios where it was written for him to read the full piece. Whether this was because of the last show to make it special though I’m unsure.

Thank you for boarding this ITV network service to Good Morning Britain. We will be stopping at Anglia, Border, Channel, Central, Granada, London, Meridian, STV, Tyne Tees, UTV, Wales, and West Country.

I appreciate that the new cut-out card style ITV break-bumpers might not work with the GMB titles, but retaining the old form-up animation and iris transition and just shifting it a bit to the right doesn't really achieve anything.

Perhaps using an animation more in keeping with the transitions in the titles and headlines would work better if they can no longer match it to ITV's pres.

Has anyone else in STV Land noticed this?

Have they given up on the morning bulletins again? Over the last few weeks they've been absolutely chronic. I know they are roughly 2 minutes or so, but the production of them is actually cringe worthy to watch.

This morning we had Haley Bouma from STV North on the bulletins, and it was like watching a rabbit in the headlights. Even coming back from the local weather, there wasn't even as much as 'We'll be back in hour with more news' it was just a straight 'Goodbye' which was cut off at the end most likely cause they were overrunning.

Actually using an orange version of the new cut-out style and it "breaking up" to reveal the first headline would probably be far less jarring than the circle reveal mixed with the vertical lines.
