That's pretty refreshing compared to the usual non-answers or answering the question they wanted to be asked instead of the one that they were asked that seems to be standard these days.
I'd recommend anyone with an interest in the way Ofcom does it's business to read the whole account including the narrative of the discussion in question. Ben Shepard doesn't come out of this at all well, Kate Garraway tries leaping to his defence too at one point.
It's clear that ITV put their hands up on this case and admitted that the complaint was valid. They attempt in their discussion to mitigate the complaint, but then effectively dismiss this mitigation by authorising the broadcast of the heavily delayed apology.
The forensic detail is impressive as it always is in these fortnightly regulatory bulletins.
The next item about someone using the F word on Lorraine is amusing as well, especially if you can imagine Lorraine’s apology in her voice. “sorry about that very naughty word”
It’s been refreshing to have Ben, Charlotte & Sean present, especially the main two present all five days for consistency to the brand and a chance to show the chemistry between them.

Must be the first time Ben's done the show for a full week in a very long time.
I'll be curious to see how Adil Ray is like with Susanna as he was good with Ranvir and Charlotte when he last was on.

I agree, Ben and Charlotte do work well together, although interviews can be a little bland. Ben clearly still enjoy's presenting GMB, so I don't think he'll be leaving anytime soon. I expect it's been a while since the same two main presenters presented all week.

The reason Ben cut his workload on GMB originally was because he was burnt out, he was doing GMB, Tipping Point, Goals on Sunday and Ninja Warrior at one point.
I fully expect Charlotte will be Ben's Friday co host if Kate does go to the jungle.
