Is this the new TV Forum obsession? No one really cares how late GMB is running.....
another TV Forum obession seems to be mocking people who asks questions about actual tv presentation
it's not is it? Who actually says it running late? it might not actually be, since if ITV actually cared there would make it clear to tighten it up. Look at GMTV back in 2000, there run into the news early...

I think we have to accept running late and not being so rigid, is now part of of the Good Morning Britain format. I personally like that idea as it mean things are a bit more natural and if a segment warrants more air time I think it’s good they can do that.

Nothing new here, go back far enough and you can see here TV-AM go into the 8am news best part of two and a half minutes late...
see start of clip (clip contains Rolf Harris and in thumbnail)
Mind you there's a more extreme example here going into the 7am news at ten past seven, though not through any fault of their own as they're at Thames and not their normal studio at Camden - see from 10mins in)
Unclear as to exactly what days Madeley will be hosting but since it has been mentioned that Ben is doing This Morning then I would presume it'll be Thursday and Friday?
Last 'normal'nite before pre-dawn starts: co-hosting GoodMorningBritain for next3weeks from Weds.Set alarm for 3.30am. Aarrgghh!!!
Not particularly impressed by the return of Richard, although at least it isn’t Kyle. Presumably he will be covering Ben’s holiday this week and Piers’ holiday next week.
They could easily cover holidays with Kate, Charlotte and Ranvir although I suppose their professionalism doesn’t generate the same headlines that Richard’s ridiculousness does.
