Now might be a good point to remind everyone that presenter discussion is not permitted where "it relates to the presenter's personal life/privacy" as the pinned noticed albeit in the newsroom section.

Whilst I think we all agree, since her absence is unexpected I am sure we would all like to wish her good health and hope that herself and bump are fine.

Yes, but there was one post in particular (by TVDP a couple of days ago, as I recall) that veered dangerously close to tasteless, not-to-mention groundless speculation, so Charlie's note-of-caution is entirely appropriate.

The 8.30-9.25 portion of GMB on the 21st of August is listed as GMB Today in the RadioTimes guide

Interesting. Probably so they can still measure the audience share.

Or sponsor it.

If that is still classed as news and current affairs, then no sponsorship allowed.

I doubt it will be news and current affairs in the 8.30 slot. GMTV used to have sponsorship after 8.30 on a Friday, it was branded at GMTV Today, but the sponsorship was branded as "the weekend starts here". It's similar to GMB's entertainment slot being officially call "Showbiz Sharp", i've never heard the presenters call it that, only the sponsorship V/O.

Really intrigued to see how they'll work the programme after 8:30 with content, graphics etc
