It's a bit different on a weekend edition.

Did they get Danny Baker on to comment?

It was yesterday.

Only Eammon and Charlotte this morning and alternating between the headlines. The OTS has been used on the right and we've also had the live bug on the right during one of the interviews.

Really enjoy Eammon on GMB; fits in perfectly.

I fell asleep again, at least Piers wakes you up whether you like him or not Smile

As if they're professionals in that field.

Great to see Eamonn and Charlotte presenting, you can tell they have a genuine friendship. Would be my choice for Thursdays and Fridays. The two presenter format works well for the news bulletin, although I doubt it could work with Piers, given he will go off on a tangent wherever he can.

The Kem and Amber thing might just work, Love Island is the hit of the summer and GMB are trying to get their piece of the success. It probably won't resonate with 48 year old housewife Linda (their targeted viewer), but it should bring in some younger viewers.

Eamonn and Charlotte a sterling combination in my opinion this morning. Would love to see this combination on a Thursday and Friday, personally.

I've just had a thought about the two weeks that GMB is being extended to cover the Lorraine show. Could they be testing to see if this Extended format will work in the future again? I'm just thinking about the move to the new studios and less studio space. Maybe they will cancel Lorraine and go back to the old GMTV format? They would only need one studio from 6 AM to 9 25. Any thoughts?

I'd be surprised given how much better Lorraine does than GMB.

I reckon it's more of a shop window into GMB for Lorraine's viewers while she's on holiday. They'd love to get more of her audience tuning in earlier.
