So how much longer will Sean be on GMB then?

I don't see why he would leave GMB just to present a Sunday morning show.

I don't think the day of the show would be the issue here - more the channel.

Hasn't he been a regular reporter on Countryfile for the last 18+ months

Interesting.

We don't know Sean has left, do we?

Frankly anything would be a step up from presenting 30 seconds of headlines at 6:30 each morning though.

Sean going would leave a spot covering the newsreader position in the holidays.

The fill-in spot would probably be filled by Louisa or Pip Tomson. Richard Gaisford too maybe.

Seems a strange time for Sean to be pushed out, given the show is now over three years old, surely his contract would run out in Feb/March, if he was given a year long contract last year? They will still need a sports correspondent though, unless they drop the role and use whoever.

On a different note, it would be nice if they took the program outside at some point this year. It worked well in 2014, didn't happen in 2015 and happened once I think last year (which I think had to be abandoned).

Just going back to the election programme, was this the first there has ever been a split screen over the 9:25 junction? Imagine that back in 1983!

Presumably, given it's ITN's graphics, there must have been a subtle switch at some point prior to the end of the programme?

Did the same for Election 2015, I remember Al telling Tom to get some sleep.
