Who will replace piers and Susanna this summer? Last year they got Kate Garraway, Charlotte Hawkins, Ranvir Singh and Ben Shephard but can't they get a permanent presenting couple for the whole summer.

Nobody will "replace" them. They'll just have stand ins, most of which will come from within the team.

Hate that kind of click bait writing but seriously? How much annual leave do Piers and Susanna get?? They seem to be off every school holidays which makes for quite an inconsistent feel.

I would definitely like it if Eammon and Charlotte were given the job as he's becoming a bit of a regular!

Don't forget both have children some young who it must be nice to spend some family time with during school holidays, can't castigate them for that really can you?

Anyone with young children would like to have time off with them during school holidays. Piers and Susanna seem to have a disproportionately large annual leave which is my point. Working 3am-10am or whatever hours Piers and Susanna do means that you're home by the time some people get up and they've still got the whole day with their families.

Back to pres and I think it just makes a really inconsistent look when your anchors are having a fortnight off every 6 weeks. It's worse when they only work 3-4 days a week anyway. This may seem incredibly picky but GMB at the minute is (to me) perfect in terms of content and the presenting situation is the only thing which irritates me.

So what? The format remains the same regardless of whether they're there or not. And it's not uncommon for presenters to take breaks during school holidays etc
