I'm pretty sure he'll do quite a bit editorially but agree he could easily be given an extra bulletin or two. There's 100 people in editorial positions and but I have no idea how many of those are in sport.

Personally I would prefer it if they had the sports bulletin straight after the local opt out. It would work quite well to have the local presenter say "and now over to Sean in the studio with the sport" and I'm pretty sure they could have it sponsored(?).

In other GMB news they've been nominated for some award

So what's the situation with Sean Fletcher? Every time I watch GMB he's nowhere to be seen. Apart from when he covers the news role now and again.

Sean is too bland any way, Darren Lewis was much better than him.

I hope they use Phillipa Tomson like they did last summer to cover newsreader again, hopefully Louisa James might get a go too again.

You call Sean bland and then say you hope to see more of Louisa James?! Ironic.

Louisa is good I agree. She used to cover the main editions at Central (West and East) years ago. It's a shame we don't see her presenting more.

I think Sean is a sound guy. Would be great if Darren Lewis got a slot on the show doing Sean's job. Not going to happen though.

If they last till December they'll have been on air longer than Daybreak.

God forbid we see the launch of another breakfast show and the subsequent reactions from this forum lol!

That's including the fact that Daybreak had a complete relaunch in September 2012 too, going from the 'Adrian and Christine' version to the 'Lorraine and Aled' version, too.

That just seems like a weird footnote now doesn't it? The most obvious attempt they made at bringing back GMTV in all but name.

Very late for the 7am TOTH with titles rolling at around 7:03! They decided to begin an interview at 6:58 which was why they went over!
