It's so easy to ignore how much Piers grate on me when he's on every morning over a long period of time. But when he's away for a while and then he comes back, it hits me in the face. I can't stand the man. Bring back Eamonn pleaseeeee!

Oh aye, let's bring Eammon Holmes back shall we. Will we just rename it GMTV while we're at it? Rolling Eyes

Brilliant idea! Good thinking Gary!

That was sarcasm if you didn't get it already...

So what's the situation with Sean Fletcher? Every time I watch GMB he's nowhere to be seen. Apart from when he covers the news role now and again.

He occasionally does his 3 Minute bulletin at 6.30 when it isn't being covered by the newsreader.

My god. I'd be ashamed to have a 3 minute slot on a 2.5 hour tv show.

Does that include Richard Arnold? They are getting paid you know.

Thats 3mins on air. But no doubt working behind the scenes for more than 2.5hrs a day.

Why don't GMB have a sport bulletin at 7:30am as well? Seems pointless to have one.

So three minutes on air but more than 2.5 hours work off screen? Hmm doubt that all he has to do is read an autocue. When daybreak 2012- was on air Matt Barbet would have a lot more than 3 minutes. He had guests live in studio and it was very good. Darren Lewis would appear regularly with Matt. Just seems like a wasted salary to me.

i think Christine lampard has been doing an excellent job covering for Lorraine. She's a really good interviewer and brings warmth and energy to the show. I think it's time Lorraine gave someone else a chance. She's hardly on the show. It always feels like de Deja vu too when she's on. Same old same old. Time for someone new imo

Unlikely that he'd be on a salary - more probable that he's on a day rate as with many people in that kind of profession. He's the Sports Editor, right? So I assume he'll be doing other things aside from presenting. They employ a fair amount of people behind the scenes in all kinds of roles and covering all sorts of things needed to get a programme like that on air, so I doubt he'll be rocking up at 6:25am, doing his bulletin, and then heading out of the building at 6:40am.
