If you were hoping to see Mark Austin hosting, you can find him on LBC on Friday 14th and Monday 17th April between 1pm and 4pm.

I am unsure whether it has anything to do with him not returning to GMB.

Eamonn's return to GMB had circa 536,000 viewers with a 16.7% share. Even though it's half term, that's quite a low rating without considering Eamonn was hosting. It was given promotion as well, so ITV were probably hoping it would see a slight rise.

That is pretty good for ITV Breakfast. It would be nice to see Eamon on GMB full time, he's very good at breakfast telly!

I've really enjoyed Eamonn's presenting stint. Such a shame they tried to force the chemistry between him and Kate though. It's pretty clear that if he did ever do it full time, he would be presenting with Kate - not Charlotte.

A minor thing, but I like how Eamonn does his own thing with the words on the autocue, rather than simply reading them out.

Well I'm not sure why anyone was expecting any different - Kate is one of the main presenters, whereas Charlotte is the newsreader and occasional fill-in.

Very few GMB viewers will even be aware that Charlotte and Eamonn worked together. I'm willing to bet there are many, many more who'll remember him and Kate presenting GMTV.

It's a shame that GMB has modifed it's on air look. The previous circlular theme was perfect in my opinion. The new one is not bad, but it doesn't look finished to me, and some of the wipes look poor.

I prefer the modifed theme tune better than the 2015 version, but I still prefer the original.

I really love the GMB fanfare theme.

Oh I hated the circular theme. It was all to fluffy a gossipy (if thats even a word) and there were random shapes everywhere. The new look is simple, newsy and down to earth.

true, I don't think many people on this thread are old enough to remember he presented with Kate first. The on-screen partnership between him and Charlotte on Sky was never equal either.

Chemistry seemed pretty natural between Eamonn and Kate to me. Not sure about the viewing figures, but reaction I saw on Twitter and Facebook seemed favourable.

Viewing figures have been less than favourable this week, although I don't think it would be fair to pin that on Eamonn. This week rated slightly lower than last week, and was definitely lower than the February half term.

I'm surprised you not blamed it on Kate, and the fact that Charlotte wasn't presenting with Eamonn.
