Now that is saying something when a set looks beautiful off the TV screen. I can only imagine how incredible it will look on screen tomorrow.
Oh nice!
All set for tomorrow @piersmorgan & @susannareid100 checking out the new @GMB set, join them from 6am @ITV pic.twitter.com/m5OGqymC5E

This Morning and GMB are not sharing sets, just Studios. They're permanently up either end of the studio
One of the benefits of using TC3 at 8,000 Sq Ft, which gives then 4,000 Sq Ft each to use for GMB and This Morning. Roughtly the same sizes they used at TLS.
This set looks great. Huge improvement on the last one. Desk is almost like the first launch one. Bright and vibrant light strips behind Piers and Susanna's heads, one big screen makes a window view perfect (especially for this morning??) Logo stays the same slight shame but maybe a slight change in the on screen furniture. ??
Roll on 6am!!

Can't help but dislike the itvGMB banner behind them. Looks a bit washed out/blurry to me. Otherwise, decent enough.

It does look lovely, in a way I don't want much revealed before seeing it ok TV, but the desk and sofa area looking very nice and quite different to what we've seen in Studio 5. Presumably the same screens are used in the sofa area, the performance area monitors have got to appear somewhere.

I’m a big fan already. It’s already looking great from the pictures we’ve seen. Very similar but very different and a definite evolution for the better.
The only thing I’m not sure about is the desk. It looks a bit too formal and newsy to me. A desk like that would be quite awkward to interview a guest in the studio from like they have been doing.

I thought the same. They clutter the background and in my opinion, look dated. But obviously, could look better on screen, so I'll reserve my final judgement till then.

I, too, think ITV News should take note. I like the wood in the GMB studio, and ITV News could use the NBC Nightly News studio for inspiration on how to incorporate this. The lighting could get darker (more blue?) throughout the day with the Lunchtime News, Evening News and News at Ten. It would be more welcoming then the current virtual set. They could even have a neon ITV (or even ITN, if they want to go old school) logo like the NBC peacock - though, this is probably wishful thinking. Sorry it's a bit off topic.
Not sure if it’s a huge improvement on old one, the old one was pretty amazing too. Glad they’ve gone a for nice style desk and ITV News should take inspiration in how to do a welcoming warm set design.
