Sounds like everybody's having a turn presenting with Eamonn! I'm pretty sure Susanna won't be there though?

Would they record a voice over in case one presenter can't do it or anything changes last minute?

Yes, I would assume they're covering all bases. It's possible in the event of a major news story Susanna could cut her time off short (or maybe they're thinking even further ahead!)

It's normal practice for various combinations to be recorded during a VO recording session. ITN have always done it exactly the same way. It's far preferable to have a natural sounding VO rather than having to edit portions together later. ITN usually only do such editing in an emergency - they usually try to get the VO artist to record lots of combinations, many of which will never be used. A good example of that was for News at Ten in 1992 - they had a voiceover ready for Jon Snow who, to the best of my knowledge, never ended up presenting the programme.

It's a shame unused voiceovers cant be put on YouTube etc once it is no longer needed

Is it not merely a case of them always reading the male presenter's name first? It's always '...with Ben Shepherd and Susanna Reid' and '...with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid'. Is it not just to keep that consistency?
