That's really positive for ITV and I really hope that this growth continues. Though I know not everyone is a fan, Piers has definitely helped improve the presenter line-up and makes for really interesting viewing. I also think that the debates and discussions they have are generally a lot more interesting than what BBC Breakfast has to offer. From a personal perspective, although I rarely Breakfast or GMB live, I watch quite a lot of what GMB posts on YouTube and social media and this greater focus on social media use by GMB over Breakfast is another reason why the show has grown.

GMB have been filing their YouTube channel lately with old material, from Christmas time. They do not put up much new material on their channel

I still think people are too busy in the morning, they switch the telly on and it defaults to bbc1, I prefer GMB though, Piers livens up the morning with the controversial debates.

My smart telly remains on the channel that was last watched.

Anything running from a Sky STB also just returns to the previously watched channel when it's turned back on.

Sky: Unless its been updated or there's been a power cut. Then it goes back to 998. Most Freeview boxes probably default to their position 1 after an update or rescan but majority of them remember the last channel even after power disconnection.

Any TV or setup that defaults to BBC1 "just because" regardless of what they were watching previously is either really really old or really really screwed up. Far more likely they fell asleep in front of the 10:45pm programme on BBC One. Rite of passage really to do that Wink

I believe that the move to TVC will happen on 16th April however I’ve seen a few times on Twitter that the move is due to happen on 3rd April, Is there any truth to that?

Could someone please change the title of this thread to include the moving date and which studios GMB/ Lorraine is moving into??

There shouldn't really be a need for that. It's just good forum etiquette to read back a couple pages before making a post.

As I leave early I cannot see GMB until I get home. Who is presenting the next few weeks during the Easter Break?
