Can anyone post the dimensions of studio 5 for a mock that I'm doing. (Length, width and height)

There are some photos on various facebook groups showing some of the new flats (as in stage flats not living in ones) in TC2

It makes sense that the new set will have the same wall textures as that is also a key part of the current graphics. At this stage it's too early to judge the set with their only being two walls currently up. Fingers crossed the finished set will look nice.

Not giving much away there but should we be expecting a bigger set compared to Studio 5? I suppose yes considering This Morning is sharing the studio.

Studio 5 in the London Studios is 2,268 Sq Ft. Their new home at Television Centre in Studio TC2 is 3,430 Sq Ft, so they have a little bit more room, not a great deal more, but a little bit more.

Four years they are expected to be at Television Centre. I wonder will the time fly by and will they enjoy being there. The new Television Centre is a very different complex, with the BBC Studioworks section much more confined to a smaller area, as they are only operating three studios.

Where is the newsgathering done for GMB - is that all done by ITV News nowadays, so presumably off site anyway, or do they have their own team at TLS as well?

They have their own team at TLS floor 4 ^^

I’m not keen when they design the graphics around the set, Sky News did it in around 2007, and it never comes off well and looks pretty pointless. It’s like GMB has designed their graphics arounds a wall design that looks like uPVC pannelling.

The current intro looked a lot better with the old pulsating rings.
