After all these years it’s still funny to see guests on the show referring to GMB as GMTV

Caught a bit of GMB this morning for the first time in while. How on earth does Susanna put on with Piers? She could hardly get a word in edge ways before he started talking over her about an entirely different subject. On one occasion she looked visibly p***ed off (and quite rightly too).

Seemed a real mess of a show too. No TOTH at 7am, just straight into a competition - really helpful - thank you. Back to Dan and Louise on Breakfast!

It was very good this morning especially when Piers challenged Henry Bolton.

The 7AM TOTH was a mess but the quality in other areas made up for that.

I would much rather watch Piers and Susannah than BBC Breakfast any day.

I can see how that can be an easy mistake to make given they're similar in name, and GMTV was around for over 16 years.

I was just stumbling on the local press who were reporting on the story where GMB are hounding Herefordshire Council for not providing housing for the SAS veteran who was involved in the Iranian Embassy siege.

"Bob Curry, 63, who is currently homeless and living in a B&B paid for by charity, appeared on ITV's This Morning Today co-hosted by Piers Morgan."

It's happened with presenters as well. Kate Garraway and Eamonn Holmes have both referred to it as GMTV (in Eamonn's case, he referred to GMB Today as GMTV Today).

The public often do it, coupled with not realising they are watching on ITV +1.

I would hardly call it hounding it’s not like it’s an individual they are targeting. Not like that memorable moment from Noel’s HQ.

People STILL call it TVAM Shocked

That may be partly due to the original association of Good Morning Britain with TV-am.
