Well considering how much chatter moving the ticker one pixel higher generates here I suspect TV Forum will be down for most of tomorrow.

I know it's something we've joked about in the past but going into the Entertainment the last two days they've been in the dark and had a mini light show with a moving head sweeping the studio. It's awful.

Has anybody noticed that Susanna seems to look increasingly irritated that Piers constantly talks over her? I wonder who will go first?

Neither. It's all part of this weird pantomime act they've got going on. It was really telling on Saturday's Pointless.

That said it makes for more interesting viewing that Ben and Kate.

This morning the ticker showed an extra 'section' which said: "Good Morning Britain", the date & "Today's top stories".

It looked more like a mistake to me. When I was watching around 8am, the ticker read something on the lines of "Good Morning Britain it's Monday 17th October 2016 today's top stories" as if it had been directly plucked from the autocue script.

They also used the vertical screen to display the date and GMB logo over the London skyline on long shots.

As can be seen here in the wideshot after the titles:

Also from 6 to 7am they use the summer backdrop in the sofa area but at 7 they change it to the winter one. Why is this? It is on purpose as they've done it for a few weeks.

Another change that adds absolutely nothing.
