Yet another opener issue this morning, this time at 8am no headline footage was played but straps were visible.

It was quite interesting in showing how the straps animate as they animated out as if the logo shaped wipe was playing but obviously there was no footage being wiped between.


The 7am opener this morning was at 0659 and still showing 0659 when they went to Ben and Kate. It was very early.

Similar to the other day when entertainment finished almost five minutes before it normally does.

On my epg it says Tuesdays gmb is being hosted by Phil and holly. They obviously got this morning confused with gmb

Who's filling in for piers tomorrow then? Ben again is it, been a lot better this week without piers, it also nice to see susanna on less,

They really need to shake things up a bit and make it a little GMTV,
In my opinion it should be like this

GMB Newshour (06.00-07.00) : Charlotte Hawkins & Sean Fletcher, Ranvir is the newsreader
GMB (07.00-08.30) : Piers Morgan & Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard & Kate Garraway, Sean & Charlotte are shared newsreader

Ranvir would stand in for Charlotte, Richard Gaisford would also stand in for Sean, whilst Phillipa Thompson would occasionally fill-in for Charlotte.
Both Richard & Phillipa along with Louisa would stand-in for Ranvir on the news.

Ranvir would stand-in occasionally from 07.00

Would you care to tell me what is nasty about what I have just written?

The fact of the matter is that: a) Fantasy rota discussions lead nowhere and the moderators (quite rightly) dislike them, and b) I can assure you from personal experience that the people whose job it is to actually DO presenter rotas don't put anywhere near as much thought into them as when they get posted here, but the product that makes it to air (no matter the channel) is almost always credible, so they must be doing something right.
