She was on annual leave the week the promo was filmed.
Interesting that there is no Charlotte Hawkins in this promo.

Of course they could have worked around that if they wanted her in it.

I am beginning to wonder. Is Susanna down to just Monday-Wednesday now. With Kate & Ben on Thursday.
Wonder why there was no newsreader, surely Louisa or Phillipa were in the building.
PinkNews Award.
I have a feeling they will put any award the programme wins on that coffee table.
Just Ben and Kate at the desk this morning. Kate now reading reading the headlines.

The fact that they didn't have someone ready to stand in suggests to me that Susanna had to pull out at the last minute maybe. Pretty sure Pip Tomson was in the building as she tweeted what was coming up on the show before it started.

Probably depends how late the newsreader/presenter pulls out. For example, if the presenter bails at 5.59 and they aren't ABSOLUTELY required, why replace them halfway through the show and make it look odd/ask questions.

Well then it is the 23rd of November aka Piers Morgan's anniversary on the programme. They even had Bill Turnbull in to make him jealous today
. Do you think he's improved the programme? Or do you hate what he's done to the programme?
BR
Has he made any difference to the ratings?
As much as he annoys some people he is a more credible anchor than Ben Shepherd and I think it's good to have someone in breakfast TV who isn't in the usual cosy morning presenter mould. I still think the problem though is more the people around him - maybe I need to let it go but I struggle to see beyond the GMTV relics of Garraway, Arnold etc. adding very little of value to the show and just putting me off watching completely.
