Lorraine confirmed at the end of today's show that she'll be here all next week.

Lorraine is a machine. She's not taken any time off through all of this. You never know with Kate not currently available she might even take to presenting the main programme as well on Friday.

Lorraine does tend to step up when needed. She stepped up to host This Morning after ten years since she last presented it when most of the cast went to attend Denise Robertson's funeral.

Plenty of people working a lot more hours than Lorraine and her 10am finish each day.

Yes but Lorraine has to perform her job in front of millions and millions of people.

Thanks for clarifying. We really wouldn't have known without you.

Not saying it’s not important work. Just disputing referring to her as a machine.

Plenty of machines have short duty cycles.

Piers Morgan now appears to be making decisions about who can or can't appear on Good Morning Britain. Is he actually in a position to be able to do this and actually enforce it, given that he is just a presenter?

I would have that that approach breaches all sorts of rules about political impartiality. It's one thing for a party to choose not to appear, but to be specifically excluded is completely different.

I thought the government had been boycotting GMB already? Fighting pettiness with pettiness it seems.

I'm sure it's Piers just trying to be humorous in banning those who already refuse to appear on the show.

I’m very surprised Piers hasn’t cancelled his holiday to appear on GMB tomorrow even if he’s not paid to do so. He must have tweeted over 100 times this weekend, he must be in a permanent state of rage.

He might linger on the sofas ready to see if a member of the cabinet agrees to appear on the show knowing he's on holiday and then pounce on them unexpectedly.

He seems to have been in a permanent state of rage since the coronavirus crisis started, and has been constantly trying to put down the government on twitter at every opportunity.

that post was ironic i think, but he doesn't really have a sense of humour so it wasn't that obvious. whether he believes in it or not, hasn't this always been Piers' recent career methodology? seize on one topic and hammer away. Iraq War (Daily Mirror), Gun laws (CNN), Covid-19 (GMB).
