No Piers as far as I’ve seen (from 6:30) so far, it’s Ben & Susannah in the studio sat at the computers on each end of the main desk.
Hilary is still at the weather desk with a split screen shot used of the three of them rather than a wide shot, so all presenters at looking at the camera rather than each other.

There’s something reminiscent of early GMB with news stories being introduced by just one presenter, it’s working very well too.

Piers and Susanna both on again tomorrow. Unusual to see Piers on a Thursday.

Did he really say that or just "We'll be back tomorrow from 6" as in the programme will be back or you just read it as that?

Im quite liking Lorraine presenting her section of the show as part of the GMB brand rather than a stand alone show. I wonder if this could be a permanent arrangement once this is all over. After all Lorraine's show was always just part of TV AM and GMTV in terms of the breakfast franchise. I think it was called 'After 9' in the TV AM days.

No way! Her branding with the violins is just too good!

They said "We will both be back tomorrow" at the end of yesterday's programme and then the voiceover at 6pm who goes through the daytime schedule before the regional news that said it would be Piers & Susanna today.

He definitely said Ben & Susanna at 6pm yesterday, as I almost picked up on it then.

I think the timing was off and given her stumble at that point, it sounds like it was "the right thing to say" at the time and felt natural in the rush to the closer.

Out of curiosity, how is the gallery running with all this going on? Are others taking on additional jobs in there to keep headcount down?

With that said, Piers has calmed himself this week somewhere and he's been much more manageable. GMB has put on a great show all things considered! Well done to all the team involved.

I retract the above on the timings. Lorraine also said Piers and Susanna are back tomorrow

With Piers they’ve actually been hitting the top of the hour recently by taking the hard break at :55, followed by weather and hitting the hour. This morning they threw to a break around 6:50 and then came back and started an interview. Bring back Bill!

Oh dear. If they're not hitting the top of the hour people won't know what time not to leave the house. Laughing

it's potentially serious if the ad break is late and runs into the next hour
