I'm current on a 14 day self isolation and have found Good Morning Britain very informative with the horrible crisis we as a country are going through.

Regardless of what anybody says about Piers; he gets to the point and says what a lot of the rest of us are thinking. I've seen people on Social Media agreeing with his stance this week and they don;t normally like him.

I personally think Piers is good. The best day for me so far was yesterday when Piers and Ranvir presented and both got to the point and said what the rest of us were thinking.

I think it has been fantastic to see Piers and Lorraine presenting as well as Dr Hilary Jones being a regular round the desk as well.

IMO they should ask Piers to do five days over the next few weeks. Ditch Ben and Kate and let Ranvir cover for Susannah on Fridays as well as covering for Charlotte on Wednesdays. Charlotte too has done a fantastic job. Let Piers and Lorraine continue from 9Am-10AM Mondays to Thursdays and Piers and Ranvir on Fridays.

I only watched bits today because I was unimpressed by the fluffiness of Ben and Kate. I am sorry but I have said before about the un-professionalism of Ben and Kate in the past.

Sorry for a rant but these are my own views. I just feel at times like this we need the right mix with presenters.

No need to apologise I could have written most of this myself. Though I do think Ben works well with Susanna on the regular Thursday slot.
Unfortunately I didn't see him with Lorraine today, but wasn't impressed with what I saw earlier with Kate.
I felt the Piers and Lorraine team got better with each appearance. Keep Lorraine on GMB, together with Susanna, Charlotte and Ranvir, they make a strong team.

Lorraine anchoring LIVE on a Friday. It’s been a while since that happened.

I'm surprised Laura is still in doing the weather. Surely one of the main presenters reading a script over the slides would suffice (with Laura writing the script from home)?

As they're trying to keep the number of people in the studio to a minimum, it is surprising Laura is still in, especially as she could record the weather at home, or do it via Skype.

It's also a little surprising they've got Lorraine coming in for the 9am hour, especially as there are already two presenters in who could present the extra hour. As others have said, I can't see Susanna being displaced by Lorraine at 9am each day when she returns from self-isolation next week, so it'll be interesting to see what happens there (maybe Lorraine will take her Easter break early?).

As the newsreader role looks to have been temporarily dropped, I'm guessing Charlotte will be on leave when Susanna returns, unless she fills in for Piers over Easter.

From the small bits I've seen GMB's coverage looks to have been fairly strong, but I don't really understand the need to interview random celebrities in the 9am hour and attempt to tenuously link it to Coronavirus.

I also feel Laura's delivery is too cheery and "business as usual". It's a criticism I've made before when she's covered things like storms and bush fires, but in this instance I really don't think weather forecasts should be delivered in this way at the moment when we are meant to be discouraged from leaving the house. They should be far more matter of fact and authoritative.

You'll not want to watch Sean Batty's weather forecasts then...

I didn’t see the end today. Did Lorraine say she will he back on Monday?

It's a brief break from the serious stuff - much needed.

All she said was GMB was back on Monday, but hopefully she is!

Why don’t they just do GMB with Lorraine at 9am?

I thought that they only dropped the newsreader role because Susanna was off and they didnt want to get another presenter in. Maybe they will have Charlotte in 6 till 7 then Piers & Susanna do 7 till 10 with Lorraine joining them at 9.

When do we think Susanna will return? Wednesday was the earliest by my maths. My guess at this week's line up would be Piers and Charlotte Monday and Tuesday, Piers and Susanna Wednesday, Susanna and Ben Thursday and Friday, with Lorraine and Piers/Ben after 9.00. Though possibly Susanna might co-present 1 or 2 with Lorraine.
