We’ve heard many a time on here that ‘Piers is the show’ and how people only watch for Piers and ‘how it’s better than stale old Breakfast’.
Today’s ‘display’ was what you guys were warned about - if you give somebody like him carte blanche and treat him like he is the show it’ll all end in tears and any reputation GMB has goes down the toilet.
I enjoy Piers on GMB but this morning was terrible. His usual rants and questioning can be good but this is not the time to be ranting and raving at professionals.
Continually repeating same point to Dr Hillary and other medical professionals is not going to get them to change their views because it goes against yours.
GMB do put the music on as a signal to wind up the debate but this is first time I've seen them just cut away. I hope they continue this.

If only he'd let Doc Hilary speak, give him space, and be candid, I think the doctor would have agreed with some the points he was forcing upon him !
I refuse to watch GMB after 6:30am before a Thursday now, even more so since the show has become dominated by the current coronavirus story. I've also unfollowed him on Twitter as it's just a constant stream of what amounts to 'I'm the only one who's right and everyone else is stupid for not following what I think (in my completely unqualified opinion)'. Talking as someone who thought he was a genius choice back in 2015, I've grown to find him increasingly insufferable recently and this is the final straw. For me, the show would be better off without him.

Piers Morgan - sweet God, I have just watched the interview with Professor Jason Leitch - why did he bother? Piers keeps asking question after question, and never gives more than 10 seconds for the man to reply.
He was at his worst today and that is saying something - utterly appalling, totally unprofessional, poor Susanna tried to keep the segment in check but failed.
His bosses need to ask him to shut his mouth on occasions and let the professionals speak. It seems Dr Piers Morgan knows everything.
His attitude is, if you do not whole heart agree with what he says, he will bellow at you for as long as possible until you give in - this is what he used to do as an editor at The Sun and later The Mirror.
Ian Hislop said this is why he detests him - he has the bully mentality (like his friend Mr Trump) of shout loudest and you will win.
I don't think I could ever imagine the BBC Breakfast hosts or even the truly pathetic Sky News Kay Burley doing what Piers did this morning - I do think he crossed the line
Check his Twitter account and see Lord Sugar fighting back at him, which Piers eventually blocked him - on Twitter, the never ending complaints from Morgan, as if anything he tweets will change the process
Surely there's someone in charge on this show oh I don't know say a producer or even director who can say "right that's enough Piers" and cut him off in to a break or VT? Why are they allowing him to have these lengthy rants?
Johnny Vaughan used to de-rail while during the paper reviews on The Big Breakfast but he had a co-host to stop him going any further and get back on track to the item.
