Good Morning Britain in 2020

This will be the week Good Morning Britain turns the tables on BBC Breakfast, I imagine, especially with Louise Minchin out of the picture on the latter.

Are you serious? How many times has it been said that it’s the format that makes people tune in, not the presenters (though it could be argued that GMB’s regular co-presenter actually turns people away from it)

It'll be interesting because I personally found Bill and Susanna completely void of chemistry when they did Breakfast together. Bill has appeared on GMB as a guest a few times since leaving Breakfast and seems to get on better with Susanna than when they worked together. This clip is quite amusing though (I know it's a mock up) ...

If only she did that with Piers.

Trust Breakfast to have the "fill in" Sally Nugent on a day when Good Morning Britain goes in all guns blazing. Talk about a slap in the face for Breakfast. They may as well give up and go home. Oh well.

She's a perfectly competent and familiar presenter, no reason at all she shouldn't present. Why should Breakfast be reacting to what GMB are doing? They are the more popular programme

Well it certainly has been a breath of fresh air this morning watching Bill. Also I must say the chemistry between Bill and Susanna is much better than it was on Breakfast.

Must say I had a little giggle at Bill's comment about the time keeping (or lack thereof) at the 8[:05] TOTH.
