He doesn’t seem his normally hyper self. Either he’s been asked to tone it down, nerves or he’s not really a morning person.

I imagine they’re trialling him to be third in rank after Laura and Alex now Alex is presenting his new Sunday show and filling in on GMB now.

Towards the northern part of the UK, it starts off nice and dry before cloud moves in this afternoon.

I've just noticed that the Twitter info on the strap isn't central aligned because of the icon. The @text is fine otherwise but this has really bugged me

I've been watching for the last week and unfortunately beyond the news half-hour, I haven't noticed at all that the newsreaders are back. At the 7 TOTH you can see Charlotte on the catwalk for the headlines and Piers still rants until 7:15. After ranting for most of his and Susanna's first half hour (6:30-7). I know GMB isn't a conventional breakfast show by any means but is having the headlines in the first quarter of the hour too much to ask for?

How to disappoint TVF! Piers, roughly, likes the new voiceover!

It might just be because andi peters was doing lives for the competition from there or that’s just a coincidence that it’s new from today.

I don’t think the voice over was great in day 1. I think it sounded much better from day 2 though.

PIers described the new voiceover as ‘weird’ before presumably reminding himself why it’s been changed and then suddenly being a huge fan

I hope they haven’t asked him to tone it down. Des Coleman is the nation’s most entertaining weather man.

Although he has generally calmed down a bit in recent years, since he’s joined Central. I think this kind of forecast would make him an instant national hit.
