It’s interesting that the new titles haven’t returned, they must’ve not been that happy with them for them not to come back.

I’m quite surprised they went with three presenters around the main desk, I was expecting Charlotte to stay at the news desk for the whole show.

I’m glad the ticker is back, even though the colour does seem a bit off. The new voiceover really isn’t for me though. He sounds slowed down, muffled and on the “live from TVC in London, This is GMB” he says it too fast Without any pauses. Bring back Dominic Green!

I was running two minutes late this morning, so I come out of the bathroom at 06:00 and caught Mrs MM watching the start the GMB.

The ticker looks fine. The VO is fine. IMHO YMMV

The news screens in the corner of the studio use a forced perspective effect, whereby the graphics are blurred to make them seem further away. This effect only really works from the main desk and looks quite dodgy from the news desk.
jason2016, Stuart and Ittr gave kudos

Also, Charlotte would probably be in the back of Piers' shot if they kept him on the left of the desk.

I don't think the show flows now they have gone back to having the news between 6 and 6.30 and then loads of waffle when Piers and Susanna start at 6.30. Start the show with waffle at 6am, get to the news by 6.15 and off we go with the show.

And I really don't like it when they split the screen into six with all of the various presenters and contributors on screen. Fair too busy. Keep it to 3 at max.

Wasn't the deal between ITV and Piers that he would start later (6.30) and end later (9.00), so he still works the same amount of hours as when it used to be 6.00 until 8.30?
This makes me believe that he wouldn't be willing to extend for another 30 minutes each day. I doubt he cares about the 'flow', and ITV obviously want and need to keep him, seeing as he has become the 'star of the show' and it's somewhat become his show.

Wasn't it more that he wanted an extra 30 minutes in bed than him only wanting to work 2.5 hours?

Where for me I much prefer the fact that they have the first half an hour of news with an in depth report from correspondents before they start the debate style features. I also like the fact the you can see the ‘family’ of presenters.

Are the figures under the heading 000’s the viewing figures for each show?

I would suspect that if he'd posted the full list, we'd see Breakfast take a healthy lead as we get to 8am and beyond.
