I’m surprised she’s going back already, would have thought she’d want to have the summer off then start in September.
Kate is back on Monday and Tuesday.

She said that the her husbands doctors have suggested she try and get something normal life back, as they were worried about her.
Kate is back on Monday and Tuesday.

It’ll be a shame if Ranvir isn’t given more to do. She very much provides the journalistic heft of the programme when Piers and Susanna aren’t there.
Charlotte just feels like the supporting cast unfortunately. And I’m already finding the show largely unwatchable sadly with the increased airtime for Andi Peters etc.

They’re literally all journalists (apart from Ben who did a dance degree of some sort)....but it doesn’t necessarily make them that journalistic on air. Eg. Charlotte.

Ranvir certainly seems in favour amongst the bosses at ITV at the moment, even more so with the addition of her new Sunday show. I personally find Ranvir better on the news and as Political Editor, as opposed to the lighter stuff she does.
Although Charlotte has her ITV Racing gig, she hasn’t really done as much for ITV since leaving Sky, and the bosses at GMB don’t seem to rate her all that much, so I do wonder how much longer Charlotte will stay at GMB/ITV, especially with no newsreader role for the foreseeable future.
And seems to turn up on pretty much all ITV news and current affairs shows. She's probably one of the most regular faces on ITV now.

Well we pensioned Sean off about four years ago and he's still there (I think), although rarely seen. Again he's done quite well away from GMB, more so on the BBC probably but has a few shows on the go. If GMB had managed things right Charlotte and Sean would be the reliable B-team.
I guess Kate returning means that if there is still no newsreader then Charlotte will host only one or twice a week, with Ranvir seemingly favours now. However I wouldn't be surprised if the newsreader role does return on Monday - it would take the pressure of Kate somewhat.
