That reaction to the Piers Morgan Life Story clip was very awkward.

The whole interview was awkward.

They should not have called it GEB because it nothing like GMB.

GMB = News magazine show
GEB = Football entertainment show

I do wish they would do a proper GEB like GMB because if it worked i do think it be a good contrast to the BBC News at ten.

The whole programme is awkward.

They'll not do this again in a hurry. It's a shambles. I feel sorry for the team, they've clearly gone to a lot of effort but it just doesn't work.

To be fair, it is after the match, and I presume was the main intention of this.

Agree it all seems awkward, and something feels all very forced about it.

Pamela Anderson was a poor choice of guest. She just sits there acting coy and trying to change the subject on every question asked.

And what was the point of having Amir Khan there if they're barely going to speak to him.

They have way too many guests in for just an hour long show. There's too much emphasis on the football. And it doesn't work doing the whole show from the desk, they should have mostly used the sofa set given that there's no news and they're just interviewing a load of guests.

If you look at both of the screens, the spotlights seem to be quite fake.

And they've now gone onto Brexit. I can, with some changes, see this sort of programme working.

The whole thing tonight seems really disjointed and quickly thrown-together. It's a shame, because there was so much hype prior to it going to air.
I'll be glad to be watching regular GMB tomorrow morning.

That opening sequence was pre-recorded. From the live wipe onwards it was all live.

It looks to me like the title camera move was prerecorded and they went to the live shot as soon as the live graphic came up on screen.

“And back to the football” I sigh, I was looking forward to this prime time edition of GMB. They promised a bit more than World Cup chat when promoting this show.
