Good books to read about British TV channels

After reading Independent Television in Britain part 5 (October 2018)

Jeremy Isaacs' 'Storm over Four' covering his time as the Channel's first Chief Exec comes highly recommended, too.

Not sure how good it is but Channel 5: The early years by Christine Fanthome.

I dare say they didn't regret it when it was commissioned or pitched, and they clearly weren't too fussed about it when they commissioned a "where are they now" show twenty odd years later. And in fairness Channel 4 did air a whole load of other stuff down the years that generated headlines, Minipops wasn't the first to do that and it wouldn't be the last.
