But surely WWTBAM is a famous one? WYWH? is slightly more difficult though.
I drop in and out of Golden balls each day and am getting addicted to it.
I couldnt believe today's final when I thought both women were gonna steal but one cracked and the other walked away with the lot - even the audience were shocked and annoyed.
Jasper seems to have improved aswell - I enjoy the relaxed pace of the show - building up to the main event near the end.
TWL has run its course just like WWTBAM and even DOND (and even Countdown) is starting to grind on me lately.
If Vorderman actually shuts up then Countdown wouldn't be that bad, I like the show, I don't think it's dated, but has too much of a role now. On the same level no-one could really replace Richard Whiteley though..
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, ITV1's quiz Golden Balls continued its successful run. The Jasper Carrott show averaged 1.7 million viewers between 5pm and 6pm, compared with Anne Robinson's audience of 1.6 million for Weakest Link between 5.15pm and 6pm. In the 45 minutes the two teatime quizzes went head-to-head, Golden Balls was consistently ahead by 300,000 viewers.
Fri 20th July
ITV1's daytime quiz Golden Balls again had the better of Richard and Judy, pulling in 2.1 million and a 16% share against the Channel 4 programme's 1.5 million and 11% share.
Wed 18th July
Earlier at 5pm, ITV1's Jasper Carrott-fronted quiz Golden Balls pulled in 1.6 million and a 15% share, beating Channel 4's Richard and Judy, which had 1.2 million and a 12% share in the same slot. BBC2's quiz The Weakest Link scored 1.6 million and a 15% share from 5.15pm. Channel 4's new daytime quiz Win My Wage continued its poor performance at 4.15pm, pulling in just 1.1 million and 13% share

thank you,
there not much between them is there
but this is the summer and maybe R&J type of people are away in the sun
but this is the summer and maybe R&J type of people are away in the sun
or maybe because Richard and Judy is about as tired as Judy looks
And why people are still watching the Weakest Link 10 million episodes later I don't know, they've probably run out of questions
I wouldn't say R&J is tired, bearing mind it is a topical show-- unlike POG! Although Richard Madeley does my head in some times, and the programme seems to have an obsession with
Big Brother
(C4 nepotism and all that), it is still watchable in my view-- they have done themselves a favour by getting rid of
You We Say We Pay
permanently too.
I'm not sure about the ethics of
Golden Balls
, but I think it does have that element of unpredictability and tension about it.
