I see....

I saw this one today, thought it was fairly good actually. I like a bit of complexity in gameshows, and this wasn't too bad.

I don't remember though if "Gavin" was the Scottish bloke, or the obnoxious Southerner. Which was it?

If I recall Scottish though I'm sure Gavin will correct me if wrong. Is the show repeated or any online clips? as I missed it due to fixing someone's computer.

I was the nice Scottish man who got stiffed by a couple of sneaks.

But hey, that's the game. I might have done the same thing in the end, I really don't know.

I was told they had to have contestants escorted out of separate doors after some shows, such was the animosity from someone who was "stolen" from.

We were show 39 of 40, so I don't know why we were brought forward in the schedule.

I like the show but it won't be a massive success because it's too bloody complicated. Just like a bad joke, if you have to explain it it ain't funny.

And Jasper Carrott is no Noel Edmonds. Noel may come across as a nutter on DOND but he supplies a lot of the reason to watch, builds up the soap opera-style tension well. Jasper Carrott in comparison is like Paul Daniels on Every Second Counts in the 80s.

It was the first time I've seen the show, and although it seems rather complicated, I enjoyed your performance Gavin.

A bit crap innit. It just seems weird having Jasper Carrot in game show host mode. Mind you this is the first time i've seen it. Maybe it'll grow on me as time goes on.

This show takes a little bit of this and some of that, and is all the better for it. I think it's a bit lazy to call it a clone of DOND to be honest, which gets old very quickly IMO.

If it's too complex for the punter, then the punter is an ass. Have we really got to the stage where if there is an ounce of difficulty in learning the rules people turn off?

God help anyone who invents the next offside rule then!!!

They did the same with The Price is Right - to show the programmes with the biggest jackpots first to get people interested

Maybe they have ordered it differently because the £75,000 was won without it being "killed"? You never know with ITV.

Is Jasper as funny as his old TV stand ups during recording, or not?

(Must dig out my old cassettes & find a lead for my cassette player & see if Audacity will do the honours on this thing!)
