I suppose there should be something to entice people to see it in a cinema instead of sitting and watching it on TV.

Monty Python already had that covered in 'The Meaning of Life'

finally, here are some completely gratuitous pictures of p****s to annoy the censors and to hopefully spark some sort of controversy, which, it seems, is the only way, these days, to get the jaded, video-sated public off their f****g a***s and back in the sodding cinema. Family entertainment? B******s

Dara O'Briain has just said it will be "live and uninterrupted" and explained that we will not get to hear some verses of the Penis Song on Gold.

No adverts during the show but Gold viewers get a bonus bit where they "plunge away from the show".

Really should have just recorded this and put it on after the watershed.

What bits are there cutting out?

Possibly the most horrible bleep I've heard on TV.

It's on for two and half hours. If they put it on at 21:00 it wouldn't finish until 23:30. People really should be in bed before that on a Sunday night.

Agreed. It's a bit pointless broadcasting this show live if they have to keep cutting to Michael Palin in a dress talking about sheep and the watershed. I can only assume they're only showing it like this, not just to show their last ever performance, but to perhaps show a sort of uncut version after the watershed at a later date.

Oh, and to sell copies of the show on DVD and Blu-Ray as well of course!

GOLD and Dara O Briain have tweeted that it'll be shown uncut in the repeats (Tuesday and Friday).

You don't tell me when to go to bed.
