anybody know what happened in the Granada reagion?

I don't think there has been any reports of anything out of the ordinary occuring up north, so it may have been a problem in the South only

The accuracy of newspapers is very visible here, as many are reporting it as if it was the normal bulletin time and she didn't know she was on, and therefore Anglia's fault

It does show though that we had the news here first yesterday, but as it was initially reported here in a halfarsed manner, people only began to talk about it once it reached the papers

found a clip on youtub e of gmtv in the former LNN studio at the LS. It looks fantastic! now the studio is not used it would be brillian if gmtv moved there, the perfect setting dont you think. Howveer im sure its been turned into a canteen as it looked remarkably similar to the canteen shown on gmtv this week

I wish I had Sky+ed it now, I was in a rush at the time I didn't want to mess about with recording hoping someone else would have capped it! The easiest way is to get yourself a cheap analogue TV Card (something like the WinTV-USB2 will do) and record it to your PC. Also, you could connect the Sky+ Hard Drive to your PC and use a peice of software (which name I can't remember) to extract it from the HDD, however it is much more complicated then getting a cap card.

EDIT: Considering my Sky+ is setup for live rewind, and therefore constantly records, do you think it will be possible for me to use data recovery of some sort and retrieve it? I ask as I already have a capture card with a high quality connection, which makes it much easier for me to cap it.

Think the box deletes it after an hour. Dont think even data recovery would bring it back (unless you didn't want to use the box again). Im more than happy to get a tv card and capture it. As long as someone tells me the best USB card to get and where from that delivers asap.

If you live rewind to something you want to keep, hit the R button and it will keep it.

You don't even need to do that, as it records up to the beginning of the programme or whatever it has on memory just by pressing R.

I've tried looking on Amazon as they are the quickest site I know of, but unfortunately their options are a bit limited when it comes to TV Cards. The cheapest USB option I could find on the site that will do the job is: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hauppauge-WIN-TV-HVR-900TV-Analogue-Digital/dp/B000CENSCG/sr=8-18/qid=1169025228/ref=sr_1_18/026-1978054-3009220?ie=UTF8&s=electronics
If you have £48 going spare, it does both Freeview and Analogue. If not I will look for just an analogue one, which should be much cheaper.
