GMTV re-launch in September

He did, but for a very short period and only on Sunday mornings as I recall, this was because at the time when GMTV was unpopular, where as Mike Morris was popular, even though he wasn't immediately hired by any ITV station after TV-am folded. (Same with Timmy Mallet)

I don't think GMTV would celebrate ITV50, Breakfast TV has only been on ITV for the last 20 years, but GMTV only celebrated it's 10th Birthday in 2003 in spectacular style, even when they did they acknowledged that they inherited the slot from TV-am.

Though it's interesting if you've seen The Story of ITV or if you have the book, there is far more about TV-am and the success it had to be for ITV, but that was mainly more about them crushing the ACTT union.

I think thats interesting about them going experiment with graphics.So hopefully they'll sort out Newshour's new mixture ones and Today's old boring ones. And about the old titles,the 1998 ones with the Reteurs logo is on TV Whirl and the 2003-2005 titles should be on Lee S's site.

So the 2nd phase was a few weeks ago with the new look Entertainment Today, like the music, anyone got a video of the new ET titles? Surprised nothing else had changed.

Have they got Jenni,Ben and Micheal in? I think shows should have presenters in the titles.

No, basically ET in a box with a star spinning with a dark purple background, then finishes in ET logo. Nice titles, but a little messy. Music is sound though!

Ha that's a joke. By the way, shouldn't the title of this thread be changed, as it's a month on and there weren't any huge changes.

Not sure if I have just got the wrong end of the stick, but on GMTV today there was a trailer for LK Today and the logo shown over it was not the normal logo. So I was thinking maybe there will be a new look on Monday? or maybe it was just another style of Trailer they might use sometimes?

How different was it? I think LK Today should have titles in the style of the GMTV Today titles. Have a white background and have white and pink globes that have got Lorraine Kelly in and change the logo at the end.The LK Today music needs changing aswell.

It was LK Today logo that was new in a Joined up Font, and yeah the music is not as good as it was before this look, I like what they have done to ET.
