GMTV re-launch in September

Seems to be a thing to post pictures of trains - Mr Harvey's nice flying banana went down exceptionally well!

Something that we as a once proud nation don't do so well is managing cross platform inter-chances betwen long(ish) distance routes. So here at Namur, on the right we have a northbound express (train type = "IC") from Luxembourg to Bruxelles Midi, connecting perfectly with an eastbound IC from Lille Flandres to Liege and Hassalt.

Well did anyone catch GMTV Today today? has anything changed?

No nothing has changed, all the same as last week!

Ah well, it won't be this week, however Fiona is back next week (6th) so maybe we could see a seasonal refresh then.

A few mistakes on gmtv this morning, 6AM - John and Kate were introducing the Newshour very slowly and while Kate said this is the Newshour from GMTV, the titles overlapped her.
7AM News Bulletin by someone very unusual: 'Rooshe De Frieche' (excuse my spelling) she was reading the main headlines of the day with no pictures to go with them.
8AM - Kate said 'Your watching GMTV today' and no titles appeared, the two of them waited for 2 seconds and Kate said 'any minute now'
'Oh dear' Andrew replied, he also said it's a shame the ident didn't play.

It's also very unusual next Monday 5th as the GMTV NEWSHOUR is with Kate Garraway and Richard Gaisford.
And GMTV TODAY is with Kate Garraway and John Stapleton.
Maybe John might start appearing on the new titles next week.

That newsreader they're using, is the nervous sort, isn't she?

What happened to the regular stand ins, the blond (Amanda ?) for instance?

yeah, she is very nervous.
Amanda is currently doing pre recorded reports on Hurricane Katrina.

I wonder why Penny was off on Monday when it was her shift.
She probably got a hang over from Monday night (bank holiday!)
That new nervous reporter was just an emergency stand in.

I wonder what the chances are of gmtv today changing it's theme music.

well, gm.tv got it wrong!
It said that Kate and Richard Gaisford were doing the Newshour next monday and Kate and John were doing Today.

However, this morning they said that there wil be a brand new look to our screens next monday back with Fiona. They then showed a VT of a September to Remember (which looked quite good.

At the end of the show the two of them said goodbye and thanks for being with us this summer, Kate then said: "See you in a couple of weeks, after my wedding."

I am looking forward to see te new look next week, it's about time they changed a few things.

That's because you were looking too far ahead. That line up was from a Monday a few weeks ago.
