With GMTV finishing for the bank holiday weekend, I wonder what kind of look they will bring back next tuesday.

The same as today, GMTV Summer doesn't finish until 2nd September where traditionally we would wave goodbye to the summer dream team and "Eamonn and Fiona" would be back the following Monday

Last August 31st GMTV did have a revamp, and the new look appeared before Eamonn and Fiona got back:

And it makes sense to reveal it on the Tuesday as they'll have had three full days to work on the set. If they revealed it on the Wednesday they'd either have to use a fake set on the Tuesday or do all the on-camera work overnight.

Who told you they were changing the set?

They are not changing the set as such, but apparently they are giving it a slight modification with an opposed new backdrop and a few more props. They are also supposed to be changing all the on screen graphics, titles and upbeat theme music.
