At christmas the suns with presenters on could be baubles and they could be on a citv-type flying up a christmas tree and at the top of the tree [the end of the titles!] the gmtv today logo could be normal except the sun would be a snowball!

BTW, Has anyone got any gmtv titles before september 2003?
AND... informatios tv takes ages on this computer and i'm on broadband!

Well i've changed my mind now.Instead of flying up the tree they could have different things for the suns so:
A sun for Eammon,
A bauble for Penny,
A christmas pudding for Kate,
A rudolph nose for that wednesday one,
A sun for ben,
Another sun for that friday one and again, a snowball behind the gmtv today.
I've probably got their names wrong!

Or they could save some time and stick some cheese in front of a camera.

Is that an educated guess as it's usually the second week in December or do you know for certain?

I'd like to see bauballs as I said I'd like to have seen last year, just flying bauballs would do for me, with snow falling, a lovely dark background like it is in winter mornings, it's a shame that they can't bring back the new background (curses those complaining viewers), and add a lighting effect to it to it to make it darker.

Tinsel around the windows, trees behind the sofas, They could have garlands tangling from the windows, maybe even the net lights on them, or is that too tacky.
Maybe a garland on the front of the desk, with some figurines on the desk of snowmen, etc that would be removed if there was a major news story.

I tried to do something on paint with a blizzard while the baubles and christmas puddings and stuff flew by on paint but the snow kept looking too painted,if you know what i mean.

I was going by last year as they put them up the first full week in December last year, and with the timing of Christmas this year and the days its on, makes sense that its the 6th.

Wasn't the first full week of December the first week as December 1st was Monday last year. Though I also expect that they may go for the 6th.

I'm not sure what other things will do, Disney Channel have had their Christmas Decs up for the past couple of years from the monday that's been the 2nd and 1st, and This Morning had theirs up last year on the Monday, but with the 1st being a Wednesday and putting up decorations possibly taking the weekend to do, perhaps more will opt and wait until the 6th.
