I doubt even GMTV have thought what they're going to do yet. But they will most probably just create their own morning show that may go back to a DiGGiT route of being interactive rather than having sketches.
Though who knows they may follow CiTV and go out of vision with Disney programmes coming in.
Or perhaps they can bring back Mr Motivator and kids@gmtv!

It's quite a shame they're dropping it. I can just about remember the Disney Club which had loads of kids presenting. Then that changed into Diggit. Remember Jasper the dog? And I remember the adverts they used to have telling you that the prizes are real and you can win them! They had shots of kids playing round with the prizes they won. I remember one of them won a frog umbrella and they were so "happy" with it! And Diggit had those huuuuuge inflatable sofas. Yep, we all obsesed with inflatables! And remember the kids that wrote in saying "I want to be a phone operater! And then 3 of them would sit in this weird thing answering everyone's calls!
But now GMTV Kids is going to be just as dead as CITV.

It was always more than Diggit, there was as you mentioned The Disney Club which was there before 1993 I believe, but when GMTV arrived it bigger, as it started from 8.30am and went on until 10.15am with the lovely Andrea Boardman and usually Richard Orford. But anyway it goes back donkeys years now as there was always seperate stuff at the weekends on GMTV, I seem to remember there was stuff like Disney Adventures and there was some other Saturday one in between, but after the Disney Club had ended it morphed into Roadhog which then changed into Diggit with Paul or "Des" as he was known and Fearne Cotton, which I believe came on air in 1998.
Though the only good thing at last is that they are finally putting all of the main GMTV Kids output into one brand, as it usually Disney this.....GMTV That......The Mighty Morphin Rangers Power Hour...Up on the Roof etc

No! Both Roadhog & Disney Club were running at the same time as Diggit! Diggit started before the Disney Club finished.

I couldn't agree more with you, GMTV's kids programmes are a shambles, wall to wall braindead cartoons. Something like The Wide Awake Club would just be too much effort for GMTV.

Seriously?!? I remember that Roadhog was now that I come to think of it, but for Diggit I always assumed that replaced The Disney Club altogether, but by that time the GMTV Kids slot as I would put it was fully off air by 9.25am rather than 10.15am.
One question though, am I thinking this but wasn't The Disney Club made by Scottish Television?
