GMTV, billed as "Europe's biggest breakfast show" has been censured by the Broadcasting Standards Commission for being "unsuitably explicit" and for having "exceeded acceptable boundaries" for a 9 am broadcast. The piece at issue dealt with "sex problems" and featured a sex therapist from Cosmopolitan magazine.

GMTV argued that the toys were not promoted, but just shown as one way to deal with sex problems. In addition, the segment was meant for a housewife audience, and the time was deliberately chosen so that most kids would be in school.

Good grief! It's 2003. When are we going to lose our Victorian attitude to sex?

It's almost as bad as those people who are complaining about the new Mr. Kipling advert. Some people don't know the meaning of irony.

That advert is hilarious. Surely people aren't complaining about it? Lordy, get a sense of humor people!
