I know GMTV comes from the London Studios, but I noticed today they are in the London Tonight studio.  Is something going on with the GMTV studio, or is this part of a new look ?

I reckon we could be seeing a new look here! I haven't watched GMTV in months, but can anyone notice the font change on the clock? Or is it just my imagination??? Confused

Yes, the clock font does look different, but everything else is the same, maybe it's in preparation for a relaunch ? Who knows ?

Could it be part of a plan to make GMTV more like the US breakfast shows (big windows looking out onto New York)? Just a thought...

@7 this morning, Kate Galloway said that they had changed studios while theirs was renovated to become the 'most technologically advanced news centre in Europe'

The current GMTV look is while the usual studio is redesigned. It will be back on Wednesday August 8th. Perhaps it's in preparation for the ITV 1 look on Saturday.

I'm sorry, but GMTV the 'most technogically advanced NEWS centre in Europe'? Are they having a laugh!

They've got to be joking - 'technologically advanced' isn't a phrase I'd usually associate with GMTV (but then again, neither is 'news'!). Wink

I didn't see GMTV today, but from the screengrab the temp setup looks pretty good - I think the live (and not even CSO!) London backdrop works really well at breakfast, as it captures the 'start to the day' atmosphere really well. I guess that's why all 3 US brekkie shows now have streetside studios in NY.

It is just the London Tonight/London Today news programme studio.

Its not temp and its not new, unless of course you arent in london lol.

Yes, I know - but I like it anyway Wink

I don't like the GMTV temp studio! I like the view and them having actual windows overlooking something but the sofa is horrid! And there's too much of the metalic colour.

Well, that's my opinion anyway!
