So how many of those funny quotes are true then?

Most, if not all of them, shows how bad she is Shocked Laughing

I think that's a little endearing though. I'm intrigued why some people are intent on comparing GMTV with Breakfast. It's chalk and cheese, different audience. I quite like the fact GMTV presenters know they can make mistakes on air, as long as they realise they are mistakes. It's what happens during 3 and half hours of live television which isn't scripted within an inch of it's life and timed by a Digital Doris.
Just a thought.

If only it was always 3.5 hours live. Why do your bosses persist with recording some of the LK's?? It was especially obvious when everyone else was covering the Big Bang experiment yesterday. There was LK not even referring to it.

It's hardly the sort of thing that LK Today would be covering anyway is it ? And just because everyone else is doing it, doesn't mean GMTV has to as well. There is an audience for LK and I don't imagine they are that bothered about that particular experiment.

I'm not comparing the two and I hate it when people do. BBC Breakfast is news, GMTV Today is a magazine show. No problem with comparing Newshour with Breakfast though.

I'm not saying they shouldn't make mistakes, thats impossible, the only difference being Fiona never notices her mistakes and just moves on to make even more ridiculous mistakes. Some of the statements are also so stupid. I wouldn't call her endearing, I find Fiona extremely cold.

Did anyone see GMTV Today this morning? There were no titles at 7.00 or 8.00, just a shortened version of the theme and a studio shot of kate and andrew, and pria at the news desk.

Can you answer me a question please. On a few occasions when the titles (well just slightly longer sting) has failed to play, they've been able to play out the old great titles with the presenters in the circles.
Because they've been able to do this, does that mean that the current is played out in a different way, or is it to do with the transitions that are built into the titles?

Current are played from the vision desk. It's programmed to mix the right cameras, and key over the wipe. The back-up is VT.

Why all this talk of Kate getting "the top job"? What difference would this be to what she does now?

Kate does Thursdays, Fridays and school holidays as well as any other time in the year when Fiona fancies a day off. If she got the top job, she would present Monday-Wednesday and would get school holidays off, with the new Thursday/Friday presenter doing holidays.

It's hardly unscripted either.

Sure the news belts on Breakfast are scripted (I suspect GMTV's news bits have to be as well - it's quite a handy way of avoiding libel or getting your facts wrong) - but the two-ways and chats certainly aren't... Very little after 0830 is that scripted - other than links to specific clips.

And apart from the VTs and opts not much is timed automatically...
