Well to be honest if shes not up to, or can't do 4 shows a week live, then surely she should just quit? I have to say whenever ive seen LK Today, it always seemed live to me everyday.

That's not true, the little people make the programme passionately - without aim, direction, or leadership. (and since the competition scam, without money)

Well no big changes sadly. The weather is now in full view, it looks like its in a picture frame, looks odd seeing all the presenter. The news at the top of the hour seems to be longer, and LK Today has had a makeover of sorts.

I don't really think it matters if its recorded or not. Its not news/current affairs so its not exactly out dated so I don't think there is a problem.

It just seems to have niggled me, as they seem to pass it off as live. Although you do have a fair point.

I think its such a "magazine" type programme that it only needs to be broadly topical. She's certainly put the hours in over the years. I tend to think she's right to only work a couple of days a week at this time of her life. She's got nothing to prove any more.

She was on STV's "Five Thirty" show last week talking about her new book. They did some vox pops in the street asking what people think of her as a presenter and she got an extraordinarily high approval from everyone.

She's got a very relaxed, down to earth style about her.

I am really quite shocked that there were not bigger changes. The GMTV today graphics are STILL not sorted similarly with the theme tune. I think the weather looks good but i cannot understand why when the two day forcast comes up they can't get rid of that big shadow thats in the middle - they have more screen space now!!! Question for 'anoilyrag' how come you know so much about GMTV and also do you know when we might see some graphic updates anytime soon?

Nope, nothing planned. But I don't think it's unreasonable to expect changes after Fiona leaves.

anoilyrag - this is not supposed to sound cynical, but you do keep ignoring the question of how do you know this - is it to protect yourself or similar, because you shouldn't give out this information?

Let's be grown up here. Either I'm a raving lunatic with nothing better to do, or have an interest in reading and contributing to these boards.
I am interested in steering people off the chaff and onto the truth, but as to who, why, what... Is that really relevant?
Either way, I'm still contributing. You can mark me up as village nutter, or a source to pay attention to. Capice?
