Its better ...endless plugging of that itv local site!

This was mentioned a few pages back. GMTV seem to be more strict on the regions now for advertising the 'itvlocal.com' site. However I am suprised they haven't replaced the 'ITV Weather' logo on the regional forecasts.

Another thing I've noticed is Granada has stopped plugging the name "Granada"... i.e. whereas before it was "Good morning and welcome to the breakfast news from ITV Granada"... and now its "Thanks XXX, now the latest headlines from the North West". Other news bulletins outside GMTV are unaffected, however.

I think that was in the very early days of GMTV though. For at least the last 7 years the bulletins have been at 6.35, 7.05 and 8.05.

It makes sense in a way these new times as there is an hour between each bulletin so they are spread out more. Just a shame they cant go straight into LK Today after the last bulletin.

Was mentioned on page 59, but seems that the regional news times are more important.

Why have DS got that article now, looking at the main intro on the GMTV website it seems that there look to the future well for 2008 was posted either in Dec or Jan

They seem to be experimenting with different camera angles this week. This morning I noticed one where it was overhead of the studio. Where you could see Andrew & Kate on the sofa, Andrea standing infront of the green weather screen and the camera man turning his camera round to Priya at the newsdesk.

I wonder if these changes will come into effect from September, this is usually the time GMTV introduces rebrands / normally tweaks in this case, isn't it?

I think the changes are already happening, what with the regional news changing this week.

Can i ask, why is there the GMTV logo outside TLS, but not ITV or any other programme made there?

Maybe its because GMTV is a channel not a programme and so people know the channel is based there.

No idea why ITV havent got their own logo outside however?

There is a large corporate ITV logo behind the desk in the reception area though.
