The only thing I watched on BBC One daytime in the last few months was a documentary series fronted by Richard Hammond about the Air Ambulance, otherwise I'm not interested in BBC One from 9.15am until 1.00pm.

I found Miss Piggy quite horrible to interview, it even seemed as though Lorraine was having a problem, not a good thing, and I've always liked Miss Piggy.
It is indeed something different for Penny, I like it. It's a shame that the set and especially the backdrop still look the same. With me getting up early this morning, I watched and hated the fact that although it was lighter in the morning, it was still pretty dark at 6am, and yet the backdrop makes it look like midday, or a summer morning, especially how they have that light shining in to create the illusion of the sun shining in.
Does anyone know if it would be possible for them to do something with the lighting to make the back drop appear darker/lighter depending on the real world, or is it possible to have a backdrop that does so?
P.S. I did like the touches added by adding pumkins in the background today.

So can I expect to see some gunpowder barrels in the background a week next Monday?
Not so long ago Halloween was merely an uneventful lead-in to the upcoming Guy Fawkes celebrations. Now it has taken over.

I quite like it, if offers so many things pres wise, and gradually year by year more people seem to be paying it attention. It would be lovely to see a major network creating special Easter/Halloween/Bonfire Night idents. Especially Bonfire night, just fireworks, its easy (as can be reused for New Year!).

They could create a rising sun feel to the studio backdrop if they wanted to it's certainly possible. I mean they can create a sunset/sunrise feel on airplanes (mainly the B773 has this) by using special lights.

Could they make the backdrop now look as dark as it is at that time of the morning, could it work by just dimming the lights or would there be too much colour on the backdrop?
