I got a feeling that the local station bulletins are going to become similar timings to the BBC's. I reckon they should ditch them alltogether.

The news where I am from in 3 minutes covering an area from the Welsh borders to the East coast? Plus and weather forecast and sponsors? That doesn't leave a lot that maybe relevant to 'where I live'.

I also love how they display a Travel News slide, with about 2 items on it covering the whole of the Midlands. Really really pointless!

Helen Fospero was brilliant on the sofa. Hopefully they will use her more in the final weeks. If she's not moving to Daybreak I hope she gets a big job. She'd be boring on ITV News, too serious on BBC News. Argh, its tough to figure out what she could do.

Is it just me, or is Andrew Castle rather sleazy?

He comes from the Richard Madeley school of presenting... Thinks he is oober cool when in actual fact he comes across as slimy, vacuous and patronising. Glad he'll be on the television far less come September.

Andy was having a few digs this morning at the ITV management! Rather amusing actually I thought.

It's been confirmed in the Daybreak thread that Helen will be moving on after GMTV, therefore, she may not even cone back now. Last Tuesday on the sofa may have been her last day?

It wasn't she'll be back in a week or so. Look out for a 'new face' presenting on Tuesday with John.

I hope they do introduce more regional bulletins as having the last one at 7.35 means they can't compete with the BBC. There would be minimal cost as it's just the same bulletin done over and over again. They should be at 10 and 40 from 0640 to 0810 in my opinion.
