Doesn't the set look fab today? The backdrop has so much more clarity and the new floor is a vast improvement. Shame they havent used any nice big crane shots and different camera angles!

I actually thought the set looked terrible this morning, the lighting was awful.

Agreed. I caught a bit at the gym this morning, and it looked very gloomy to me.

It did look bad lighting on screen today. None of the backdrop was colourwashed with light either which really stood out. It seemed like the lights were too high for the set? (if that makes sense) It was casting shadows on the presenters faces. To be fair though I doubt the average unsuspecting viewer noticed, my mum didn't until I pointed it out to her.
Richard Keys has presented the show since its launch in 1992 and it is believed Shephard may be groomed as his long-term successor, if and when he decides to leave.
Keys, 53, started his career on TV-AM alongside Anne Diamond in the 1980s which was later
re-branded
GMTV.
Oh FFS.
Do you think the writer really doesn't know the actuality - that it was a new company winning the franchise, or do they just think their readers are too dumb to cope with the facts?
Even "forerunner" would have been nearer the mark.
