New GMTV Studio in Studio 3

Wow, that looks very nice in that picture and quite huge. I know its not larger, but certainly looks it, the lighting looks nicer too.

The floor looks much shinier, which is reflecting lots of light!

Studio 3 is larger than Studio 5 by almost 800 square feet, so I thought the set looked a little bit lost in there!

One is hoping that now GMTV is in a larger studio for the last month, they could try some cool new shots. A wide shot at the TOTH would be good Smile

Shame all that set is going to waste. Maybe London Today/Tonight could have it and break this corporate branding.

It's a pretty nice set. I think the reason it's aged so much is because of all the lighting changes and stuff it's had. We've seen it change from looking good to looking crap, which has just aged it like mad.
The news set was never used to it's full ability either. They had a huge area, and only used the corner with the monitor... I could go on...

It's only been on our screens for about 18 months which isn't a long time. It also looked shockingly bad on the first day without any lighting so it did improve. The news area is pretty small but I do agree that they never really showed it all that much.

I don't think that will be on ITV1 much longer. Why show kids shows when the best of Lorraines Daybreak will get far more viewers Rolling Eyes

It's Ben Shepherd's final week on GMTV. He has just said on Twitter that he has set his alarm for 3.30am for the last time on a Sunday.

He will present for the final time on Friday with Kate.
