Does that programme continue throughout Summer? Even if they don't, then perhaps they have sufficient episodes in the can to take a break, or show some repeats for a few weeks (or even a 'Best of...' series).
...or they might just put it in another studio?
That's the Loose Women studio. I'm intrigued to how this is going to work.

It was many pages ago, but apparently whoever is currently using Studio 7 is moving to 5, and technical adjustments are required to both the studio and gallery equipment before they can relocate.
GMTV therefore shift temporarily, but if they're clever about just moving bits of the set, then hardly anyone will notice for the sake of a few weeks.
Anyhoo, I think the well-advertised change to Daybreak should be enough to satisfy most viewers if there are visible differences.
I may have missed it in this thread previously, but why is GMTV moving into Studio 3 for the final month (or so) when Daybreak will be coming from Studio 7?

It's because Al Jazeera Sports have been using Studio 7 but are moving to Studio 5.
But then wouldn't it be easier to have just put GMTV into another studio seeing as it would be temporary?

There could just do GMTV Summer tour and take it around the country on the cheap of course...

It depends if its been designed to stand permanently (which the GMTV set has been).
Might take a bit of work.

How long does it take to set up and take down a studio like those of Loose Women and GMTV?

But the only studios they'd have left (with an audience) are the 2 largest: Studios 1 and 2 which are hired out for the big productions
GMTV is a more complicated production and is produced 5 days a week (I never watch so I don't know what they do at the weekend) - it requires a permanant setup. It's also early in the morning so they can't do a show in the evenings and restrike overnight - they don't want it taking up their biggest studios 24/7
Loose Women is filmed only 2 or 3 days a week and is easy to strike and re-strike the set, in fact that's done already. So they put the permanent setup of GMTV in the small Studio 3 and then Loose Women can go into Studio 1 or 2 depending on what else is booked in there on its recording days

Indeed, but surely they're only going to move enough of it to maintain the GMTV look for a few weeks, not the whole thing. Perhaps just the area surrounding the sofa.
I doubt they'll be too concerned about any lasting damage - as it'll all be in a skip by mid-September.

The Kitchen area will look different, apparently.
