Also - it's a reminder of how few decent sets GMTV have had. The faux living room look originally used by TVam and Breakfast Time and clung on to by GMTV really hasn't faired well. (This Morning - just - get away with their version of it)

I seem to remember that GMTV started with a pastel living room set and then when it relaunched a couple of months later went for the faux-brick look that TVam had ditched many years earlier

Despite the fact that everyone on internet forums had other ideas, the era of Photo 10 was probably GMTV's peak. The show has never really recovered from the loss of Fiona Philips.

Quite right. Despite her criticism, she did have that mixture of a presenter who is both serious and humourous. GMTV seemed more inviting when she presented it even.

Have to say I'm sad Emma is leaving. I thought she would be a good stand-in for Christine. With Kate now the only presenter who hasn't left, I wonder if she will be Christine's fill in? I don't really like that prospect but then again I think it will be nice if they keep at least one GMTV presenter. Interesting that it seems like Claire, Kirsty and Helen will remain.

Well we've missed the most important two people - will Richard Arnold and Dr Hillary remain? Laughing On the first - I hope not !

I can't see them getting rid of Dr Hillary. He's been there years and can be suited to a more serious show because that's the type of thing he does. Richard Arnold on the other hand is another kettle of fish.

Dr Hillary was doing the same thing on TV-am and jumped over to do more of the same on GMTV so he's probably the longest serving person on Breakfast TV who hasn't changed jobs or roles.

Well, there's one incorrect caption - the final one was the GMTV logo from 2000 until 2009, they forgot about the original serif logo?

It's pretty much the same logo really. No need to be picky.

They do look very similar, but lesser tweaks to well known logos have been labelled as a major rebrand! Wink

Perhaps she will have a role of some sort.

A cynic might suggest she's blowing this much smoke up ITV's bum hole to make sure she gets one.

Not me, thought.
