I think we can take anoilyrag's comment as fact....unless the bosses change their mind, and then he can update us.
I wonder if it'll be ' ITV Daybreak'?

Don't forget it should have been called Sunrise Television, but it was Sky who put a stop to that one. I'd love to know why they went with GMTV in the first place, even in it's early days they rarely acknowledged that it was called Good Morning Television on air, I guess it's done well to last for 17 years now.
Day Break doesn't sound too bad, although I'll back Gav's The Breakfast Show, that sounds better.
Although I'll reserve proper judgement until the whole new look has been confirmed and is on-screen.
Face it though the name isn't that important, afterall GMTV is a pretty bad name to begin with.

Hope they just use 'Daybreak'. There's no need to use ITV branding on it and who's going to say 'ITV Daybreak' anyway. I still much prefer GMTV but as it's been said, GMTV is a broken brand and needs to be replaced. I can see 'Daybreak' going very Channel 7 Sunrise for some reason. And from what I've seen, I hope it does. But I hope they don't show NEWS NEWS NEWS through the programme. That's already there with BBC Breakfast and Sunrise. I'll still like to see the odd live performance but one assumes these will be on Lorraine instead, while I'm at school... annoyingly. It's quite sad to see GMTV go, considering I've grown up watching it and we're both around the same age, but hopefully ITV will make the right decisions.
