Yep, from May 2005 until January 2006, it was the name of the branding between 9.25am and 6.00pm on ITV1, it was a bit of a daft idea really, the idents didn't last long at all.
I'd settle for Good Morning Britain or The Early Show. But no matter what name they'll change it to, people will probably call it by the old name, I'm sure there's people still about who call GMTV, TV-am.
Hasn't ITV Day been used before as a failed attempt to create a daytime strand on ITV1 (during the blocks period)?

A good send off for Penny this morning. It was only spoiled by making John go on location for her last day, them two together on the sofa for the last time would have been great, especially with the cake that was made, seems familiar to their 'anniversary' a couple of years back

Lovely sendoff to Penny this morning. Someone sure enjoys building the GMTV set in cake don't they! Did it for John and Penny's 10th and Lorraine's 50th Birthday too. but what on earth was going on with Jason Derulo this morning? He was pretty crap.

In reference to people still calling GMTV TVam, that is actually true. There's an old lady who lives round the corner from me who calls the main show TVam, and the Newshour bit Daybreak.
She also thinks GMTV has always had a kitchen, and not that it was a recent addition.
